Being in this business, I understand the fundamentals of SEO… and one of those fundamentals is having your website be ‘dynamic’ – include elements that change regularly so the curious little Google-bots are like “Yep, they change stuff all the time over at RelyOn Creative, so we better go over there frequently to see what’s goin’ on!” Or whatever they say.
Let’s just say I’m not a ‘practice what I preach’ kinda person. I’ve got all sorts of mad-creativity for others, but when I sit down to right something for myself, I just stare at this blank screen, thinking…. blank. Nada.
So I made the executive decision to not blog – because I can do that because I own my own company now. BaBAM (I’m currently obsessed with a John Stewart video that’s terribly inappropriate to post here, but have recently adopted BaBAM! into my lexicon. I apologize. I’m sure over time I’ll tire of it).
But I guess that’s the good thing about owning my own company. I can take my advice, or not. I can change my mind a zillion times. If I want to post something, I will. And if I don’t, who’s gonna fire me? Yep. Crickets. Thought so. 😉
So I’ve decided to do this thing. It may be only once a year, but rest assured I’ll only do it when I think it’s something worth mentioning – be it about work, Pittsburgh (because I’m obsessed with it), or anything I think someone may find interesting. Hence the name “Ramblings”. Check in & enjoy… or not.
